Dorothy Lawson

Dorothy M. Lawson, 77, of Bedford, Ky., died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of John and Margaret Burrows Lindsey. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Frances Powell of Bedford, Delores Younger of Crittenden, Ky., and Margaret Taylor of Milton, Ky.; two sons, Anthony Lawson of Pendleton, Ky., and David Lawson of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, with burial in the Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Calvary Baptist Church.
