Alva Orson Lewis, 81, passed away August 18, 1996, in Springville, Utah. He was born September 25, 1914, in Ramah, New Mexico, to Francis A. Lewis and Frances S. Thompson. He married Arlean McGregor in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 25, 1935. He is survived by two sons: Bob (Linda) Lewis of Orem; and Tim (Cheryl) Lewis of Alpine; and one daughter, Connie (Wayne) Whaley of Orem; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Lewis of Lyman, Wyoming; two brothers, Derwin Lewis of Salt Lake City and Delbert Lewis of Provo; and one sister, Veva Smith of Mesa, Arizona; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlean, his parents, a son, David, and three sisters and two brothers. Burial was August 21, 1996.
