Michael 'Mickey' Christian Wagner of Orem, David Junius Jackson of Mapleton, and Wade Banning Ivers of Mapleton, cousins, good friends, and fellow workers, died together July 1, 1994, from injuries suffered in an automobile-train accident near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon. Wade, 17, was born July 28, 1976, in Salt Lake City-Granger, Utah, a son of Michael L. and Beth Black Ivers. He attended schools in Mapleton and Springville, graduating from springville High School in 1994. He was employed by Blackstone Construction. He loved the outdoors and especially survival training. He loved to mountain bike, rock climb, and snowboard. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a Priest, had graduated from Seminary and was an Eagle Scout. Survivors include his parents of Mapleton; three brothers and two sisters: Winfield (Michelle) Ivers, Spanish Fork; Colton Ivers, Springville; Chase Ivers, Mapleton; Kelly (Steve) Shristiansen, Mountain View, Wyoming; Rami Davis, Provo; seven nieces; three nephews and a great-nephew; his grandparents: Lloyd B. and Nedra Ivers, Provo; and Fonzo D. and Belva Black, Mapleton. Burial was July 6, 1994.
