Remembering my N. Hollywood High classmate a neighbor up the street on Laurel Canyon Blvd. Gene "Dude" Criswell was a fearless motorcycle racer, promoter, actor who rode his motorcycle in "The Wild Bunch" (1953) with Marlon Bando. His father and mother were former stunt motorcycle riders. They had a garage full of old vehicles and motorcycles even police and German army tanks too. They rented them to the studios and Dude would take them to school. You never knew what would be next. One day he came by in a german camouflaged motorcycle sidecar with black iron crosses. The next day a LAPD police car!
