Russell Neil Stansfield, age 76, of Springville, died Wednesday, August 19, 1992 at his home after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born December 6, 1915 in Mt. Pleasant to Fredrick and Mary Carter Stansfield. He was the ninth of eleven children. He married Leah Miner of Fairview, Utah on November 2, 1946. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife, Leah, of Springville; two sons and three daughters: Russell C. Stansfield, Mrs. Terry (Camile) Palmer, both of Mapleton; Mrs. Gary (Molly) Anderson of Springville; Mrs. Dallan (Cindy) Kuhni of Provo; Michael N. Stansfield of Napa, California, 18 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Venette Orrock, Leland Stansfield, Wayne Stansfield, Mac Stansfield, and Earl Stansfield. Burial was August 22, 1992.
