Crawford was a truck driver for Otis Trucking Co., Jersey City.
He was a former member of Christ Temple Church, Darlington, S.C.
He belonged to the St. James Lodge of the Masons.
Crawford is survived by his wife, Betty A. Crawford; eight sons, Charles Haley, and Larry, Douglas, Charles Jr. and Steven Crawford, and William, Rick and Michael Fince; four daughters, Frankie Lee Jacobs, Charlotte M. Olds, Ellen Walker and Jessica Crawford; a sister, Harriet Crawford; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
