Albert Klein passed away January 8, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 22, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert and Verna Jane Brown Klein, the first of five children.
Albert married Ruth Pauline Juber on April 21, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Al graduated from South High School. He served in the Navy in World War II as a chief radioman on the USS Suamico. He was honorable discharged from the US Navy after serving four years in the Pacific Theater. Al retired from the Tooele Army Depot as an electronics technician in 1982 after 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, finshing, traveling and spending time at the cabin.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; children, Janice, Sharon (Pierre) Neyme, Scott (Becky), Kent (Carol); and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah where family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 and one hour prior to services.
