Calvin A. Leinbach died at his home, 624 Penn avenue, West Reading, aged 69 years. Death followed an illness of three years. He was a native of Bern township, a son of the late James and Catharine (Ahrens) Leinbach, resided in this city and vicinity the past 40 years, and was a member of St. James Reformed Church, West Reading. He conducted a grocery store for 37 years, retiring from the business in September, 1936.
Surviving are his widow, Katie (Gruber) Leinbach; three daughters, Fern, wife of Dr. Lloyd C. Wademan; Mildred, wife of Ralph Hettinger, and Kathryn, wife of Leroy Klopp, all of this city; three grandchildren; two brothers, Adam Leinbach, of Sterling, Ill. and Washington Leinbach, of Shillington; three sisters, Katie, wife of Irvin Rhein, this city; Hattie, widow of John Kitzmiller, Wyomissing, and Miss Mary Leinbach, this city.
