Ethel Leila Fuller, 98, Miltonvale, KS died February 26, 2012 at the Via Christi Village in Manhattan, KS. Ethel was born October 7,1913 in Miltonvale, KS the daughter of Dr. Samuel Earl and Etta Mae (Hane) Rose. Ethel was a homemaker and partner on the farm she shared with her husband and family for 36 years before retiring to Miltonvale. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Miltonvale as well as a member of the Country Line Club and EHU of Cloud County. Ethel taught country school and worked in retail prior to her marriage to Marion Lee Fuller on June 8, 1941. After her husband passed away in 2003, Ethel enjoyed living at the Miltonvale Manor as long as feasible but spent her last few years at Via Christi Village in Manhattan. She is survived by one daughter in law, Janet (Fuller) Kukulinsky and Charlie Dishman, Point Arena, CA, a sister in law, LaUna Elisser, McPherson, KS and many nieces and nephews. "Mother" and "Aunt" Ethel will be dearly remembered by her daughter in law, all her nieces and nephews and her "adopted" extended families. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, S.E. and Elta Rose, her husband Marion Lee Fuller, an infant daughter Sondra Lee Fuller on October 7, 1942, a son Gale LeRoy Fuller on February 12, 1976 and a sister Lela Hauck on January 18, 1993. Ethel loved flowers, gardening , quilting and crocheting, but most of all she loved to have family and friends stop by and visit. She was very special to everyone. Mother Ethel will finally be able to spend precious time with her children, Sondra and Gale in heaven.

Respect calls will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 5-7P.M. at the Phelps Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30A.M. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Miltonvale, KS, followed by burial in the Miltonvale Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church or Miltonvale Manor and sent in care of the funeral home.
