SCHAUB, SR., MR. EARL JOSEPH (Husband of Frances I.) Muskegon Mr. Earl Joseph Schaub, Sr., age 72, of Muskegon died unexpectedly Friday, February 24, 2012. He was born in Wayne County, MI on August 7, 1939 to Leo and Genevieve (Denoyer) Schaub. Mr. Schaub had worked for Dana Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, volunteering at his church and helping others in need, but most importantly he loved his family. On June 27, 1959, he married Frances "Fran" McQueer and she survives him along with 9 children, Cindy (Ken) Hulka, Barry (Linda) Schaub, Tony (Kathy) Schaub, Tammy (Tom) Begerow, Jeff Schaub, Earl (Tammi) Schaub, Jr., Penny Hulka, Kristy (Mario) Orsini, Mindy (Tim) Bond; 23 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 6 brothers, Dan (Bev) Schaub, Urban (Erica) Schaub, Ben Schaub, Lonnie Schaub, Mike (Dorothy) Schaub, Melvin (Mary) Schaub; and 3 sisters, Sister Geneva Marie, Dorene (Bob) Stone, and Geneva (Jerry) Lamie. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Anthony Britto presiding. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with the ROSARY PRAYED at 6:00 PM. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
