OBITUARY:
The Stevens Point Weekly Journal, Saturday, September 15, 1888

Deaths-
At Merrill, Tue [Thu] Aug 23rd, of spinal fever and paralysis of the heart, Charles Horace Lombard, son of Mrs. Sarah M. Myhill of Stockton, aged 21 years, 3 months and 21 days.
The deceased was an estimable young man, and his sudden death was a severe shock to his friends and relations, and is deeply felt by all who knew him. He leaves one sister and one brother and a mother to mourn the loss of a dear brother and son. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction. The remains were brought from Merrill by his mother, and the funeral services were held at her house at half past ten o'clock, with interment by the side of his father in the Lombard cemetery.
