Andrew J. Bleiler

MONROE - Andrew J. Bleiler, 72, Monroe, died Saturday morning in St. Clare Hospital after an illness of three months.

He was born in Monroe township, Green County, June 19, 1892, the son of William and Clara Trickel, and married Amelia Pinnow Feb. 14, 1917 in Monroe. They farmed in Green County until 1955 when they moved to Monroe. Mr. Bleiler had been a maintenance man at the Monroe I.O.O.F. Hall the past three years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Marguerite Norder and Mrs. Kenneth Babler, both of Monroe, seven grandchildren; his father, William Bleiler, Edmonton, Canada; a brother, Chester, of Darien; three sisters, Mrs. Alva Burdick, Janesville, Mrs. Louis Jordan, Delavan, and Mrs. Lena Bloom, Monroe.

Preceding him in death were an infant son, Royal; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Blaser, Janesville, and Mrs. Henry Speich, Monroe; and a brother Cloyd Bleiler, Elkhorn.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, in the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, the Rev. Donald Storck, St. John's United Church of Christ officiating with burial in Union Hill Cemetery, Oakley. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon Sunday
