Carole R. Miles, 54, of the 1100 block of West Revere Point Road, an insurance agent, died July 14, 1988, in a hospital. Mrs. Miles, a native of Lumberton, NC, had worked for Nationwide Insurance Co. for two years. She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy, Women of Insurance of Virginia Beach, and Cape Henry and Colonial Virginia Model A Clubs. Survivors include her husband, Roger E. Miles; three daughters, Caren M. Bohlander of Buffalo, Minn., Jane M. Smith of Edwards, Calif., and Mary Ellen Miles of Virginia Beach; a sister, Jean R. Cunningham of Warren, Conn.; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 3:30pm Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Paul Hogg, Jr. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 pm today in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
