Mr. Middleton was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Hugh and Mildred Roberts Middleton. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a Military Policeman where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After his service in the military, Mr. Middleton worked for 40 years at Inland Container Corporation as a slitterman. He was a member of Avondale Baptist Church.
Mr. Middleton is predeceased his parents, the mother of his children Christine Durden Middleton and a son Steve Middleton.
Mr. Middleton is survived by his wife Anne S. Middleton of Macon; children Cathy Nelson of Twiggs, County and Rusty Middleton of Haddock; step-children Rickey Brooks and Keith Brooks of Dublin, Eric Moore of Macon, Michele Garnto of Dublin and Christa Garner of Juliette; several grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
