Abram L. Rupp, 81 years old, for more than twenty years Western Union Telegraph operator in Steelton, died last evening at the Harrisburg Hospital. Rupp came to Steelton as a young man and was for a number of years employed in the rail mill, later taking charge of the telegraph offico. He retired in 1902. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: George F. Rupp, Miss Rebecca Rupp, H. Russol Rupp, who is borough secretary of Steelton) Mrs. C. R. Bushman, Miss Mabel Rupp, Mrs. Earl Williams, of Harris burg; Mrs. John Charles, of ML Joy: Miss Ida Rupp, Rohrerstown; and John B Rupp, cashier of the Fore River Shipbuilding plant of the Bethlehem Stool Company. Funeral services will be held at the resldenco, 233 Pine street, on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, by the Rev. Earl J. Bowman and the Rev. Joseph Daupherty. The services will be brief. The family has be-QUested that no flowers be sent. Burial will be in the Slate Hill Cemetery, Cumberland County.
