Robert married Margaretta Ann "Maggie" Smith on Nov. 6 1898 near Nocona, Montague Co. TX. They moved to old Greer Co. OK (now Jackson Co. between Duke and Olustee in a small community known as Prairie Hill) in 1901. They later moved near Strong City where his wife "Maggie" died in 1924. Robert and his family lived near Hammon until 1935 when he moved to Reydon when he lived until his death in 1949.
