Andrea Kay Rehder was born July 26, 1950, in Moorhead, MN, to Elman and Borghild (Moen) Rehder. She was raised at Comstock, MN, attended elementary school in Comstock and graduated from high school in Barnesville, MN. She attended technical school in Brainerd, MN, where she received training as a dental assistant.
She later worked as a respiratory therapist at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead. On September 27, 1975, she married Thomas L. Blair at Comstock. She then attended Josef's School of Hair Design in Fargo and worked 14 years as a beautician at J.C. Penneys, West Acres, before retiring for health reasons.
She was a volunteer for The American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program. She was a past president and treasurer for the ND Cosmetology Association and she was a Red Hat Society member.
She liked sewing, crafts and quilting. She also loved cooking, baking, going to Toad Lake, MN, pontooning, and being with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas L., West Fargo, ND; son, Terrill Blair, West Fargo; daughter, Allison Blair, Fargo, ND and granddaughter, Maggie Blair. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eugene.
Visitation: Friday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7 in West Funeral Home, West Fargo
Funeral: Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 11 in Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
