He was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1927, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana son of the late Charles and Fruzza Emily Hoover Dominguez .
He was a veteran of World War II where he was a Sergeant in the 27th Infantry Regiment of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his 5 daughters & sons-in-law Sandra D. & Carl Wells; Sharon D. & Donnie Schilling; Debra D. & Billy Ray Gueldner; Michelle D. & Jeffery Hill and Denise D. & Dahmer Fletcher; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Charles L. "Petey" & Rose Dominguez Jr. and Dale A. & Janet Dominguez; 2 sisters Lillie Mae Weisheit & Jesse Lee Brecher; 13 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren,.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Kyle William Dominguez; wife Norma Lois Lavigne Dominguez; sister Helen D. Laurent & brother-in-law Allison T. Lavigne.
Friends will be received Monday, February 20, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until services begin at 1:30 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son in Ponchatoula.
Interment will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
