Elizabeth was the sister of Sarah E "Sally" Jenkins, first wife of Archibald Means Hamilton.

After the death of Sarah she would marry Archibald, ca. 1881-82 in Gwinnett County, GA.

Six known children would be born to this union:

Sarah Elizabeth Hamilton (Nov 1882); Josephine Hamilton (Jan 1886); Ollie Jane "Allie" Hamilton (May 1888); Clyde Duncan Hamilton (May 1888) George Hillard Hamilton (Sep 1891) and Ruby Leona Hamilton (Jul 1895).
