Derrick D. Mason died January 12, 2003. He was a member of Monument House of Prayer, Dr. Lennard M. and Dr. Claudetta Paschal, pastors.
Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Hertenica Mason; stepfather, Melvin A. Bartley, Jr.; five aunts, six uncles; great grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Mason, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, at 1:00 p.m. at the Monument House of Prayer, 3613 Turton Avenue. The late Mr. Mason will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends this evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and in the church on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Arrangements by the Northside Chapel of Marion Graham Mortuaries.
