NATHAN KINNE DIES;
HAD EXTENSIVE FARM
- Camden: April 14 - The funeral of Nathan David Kinne who died at the Rome Hospital was held Friday afternoon at Sanburn's Undertaking Parlors. Mr. Kinne was born on the Kinne homestead on the River Road on April 25, 1855.
This well known farm has been in the Kinne family for three generations; first purchased and settled by his grandparents, Amos and Rachel Canfield Kinne in 1811. He was a son of Nathan and Samantha Hodges Kinne, and his father was born on the homestead and spent his life there. When Nathan the second became heir to the property it was one of the largest and most flourishing farms in this section.
Mr. Kinne never married. He leaves a half-brother, Walter J. Kinne of Selah, Washington; two nieces, the Misses Faulkner of Binghamton, and three cousins, Miss. Rachel and Charles Ailan of this village and R. D. Senville? of the River Road. Interment was made in Forest Park Cemetery.
