GERTRUDE M. GUNNETT

Formerly of 331 6th Ave., died at 8:20 p.m. yesterday, May 27, 1970, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Wineland of Roaring Spring, after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 26, 1883, in Williamsburg, the daughter of John and Rachel (Yingling) Briney, and Feb. 20, 1907, married Archie M. Gunnett, who died in 1960.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wineland and Mrs. Beatrice Lafferty of Newry; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister and brother, Mrs. Grace Hoover of Roaring Spring and William of Martinsburg.

Mrs. Gunnett was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Friends will be received in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 4 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and after 10 a.m. Saturday.

GUNNETT – Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude M. Gunnett formerly of 331 6th Ave., will be held t 2 p.m. Saturday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by the Rev. Robert J. Westerberg. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 4 to 10 p.m. today and 10 a.m. Saturday.
