Jacob H. Albert, 66, 340 Second Street, Highspire, for many years a foreman in the bridge construction plant of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, died Wednesday at a hospital here after a lingering illness.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Albert; three sons, Martin, Bethlehem; Richard, Highspire, and Donald, Penbrook; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Harvey, Ohio; Miss Stella, Detroit; Mrs. Wayne Nebinger, Baltimore, and Miss Charlotte, Harrisburg, and two brothers, Grant, Campbelltown and James, Detroit.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the home, with further services in the First Church of God, Highspire. Burial will be in the Highspire Cemetery. The Rev. R. E. Seylar will be assisted by the Rev. H. E. Wagner, Altoona.

Mr. Albert was a member of Prince Edward Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, Middletown; Harrisburg Consistory, Scottish Rile Manson, Triune Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the First Church of God, Highspire.
