Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Missionary Baptist Church at Paducah with the Rev. Keith Prather, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Paducah Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home.
Mr. Chaney was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Paducah to Marion and Blanche Turner Chaney. He served his country in the Army during the Korean conflict. He married Bobbye Stofel on Dec. 19, 1950, in Paducah. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Chaney and Kenneth "Bud" Chaney; and two sisters, Vivian Canon and Renelda Rushing.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbye; two sons, Doyle Chaney of The Colony and Terry Chaney of Paducah; two daughters, Donna Farkas of Brentwood, Calif., and Penny Picco of Austin; two brothers, Arlie Chaney of Paducah and Jack Chaney of Mabank; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
