Darrell "Buddy" Courtney
KEYSER, WV – Darrell "Buddy" Courtney, 70, of Keyser, died on Friday, August 5, 2011 at his Morgantown residence.
Born on January 11, 1941 in McCoole, MD, he was a son of the late Ellison and Roseella (Kuykendall) Courtney.
Buddy was a retired landscaper from a retirement community in Florida. He was a 1959 graduate of Bruce High School.
Surviving are his wife, his six children, two brothers, and a sister. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from noon to 2 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. at Thrush Cemetery, Antioch, WV with the Reverend James A. McCune officiating.
