MASON -Sheila (Thomas) Mason, 74, of London, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at her daughter's residence.
She was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Saleenville, Ohio.
Worked at Madison-Plains School District as a bus driver for many years.
She was a member of Church of Christ and Christian Union in Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Mason Sr.; three brothers; two sisters; one great-grandson, Phoenix.
Survived by children, Robert Mason Jr., Teresa (Cecil) Lands, Mary Jane (Scott) Blake, Peggy (Richard) Houser, Juanita Cline, Harold (Frannie) Mason, Bill (Diane) Mason, Roger (Jenifer) Mason, Vickie (Maurice) Bell, George (Carrie) Mason, Tracy Mason (Chuck Peyton); sister, Vera (Walt) Tackett; brothers, John Thomas of Prairie, Texas, Mike Thomas of Roswell, New Mexico, Keith (Hazel) Thomas of Ohio; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; best friend, Georgia Mercer.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012. Rev. Irvin Baldwin will be officiating. The interment will follow in Range Township Cemetery in Sedalia.
