died shortly after returning home in Florida Mass. from a meeting of the Board of Registrars of Voters; was Florida's town clerk and tax collector for the past 16 years; her colleagues on the board were taking her home when she complained of chest pains, a doctor answered a call but found her beyond medical aid; native of Coopersville Pa., dau of the late Mr and Mrs John Stafanchik who came from Chzechoslovakia; she had lived here for the past 22 years; last week she announced she would not seek another term as town clerk but would seek election as town treasurer and tax collector; she leaves a daughter, Mrs Roy Burdick, three sons John a freshman at the University of Massachusetts, Dr Donald Roach of Bellows Falls, Vt., and Merton of Denver, Col., three sisters Mary of New York City, Mrs Catherine Brandt and Mrs Anna Michaels both of Trenton N.J., and a brother John Stefanchik of New York City; funeral at L L SanSoucie funeral home North Adams
