Mary Elda Bohannon, 93 died at 9:30 pm Friday at the Harty Nursing Home Knightsville. She had been in Failing health since 1972 when she entered the Nursing home.
Bohannon was Born March 14, 1891 in Clay county to Scott and Nettie Rebecca (Cornwell) Pell Her Parents and ancestors were early settlers of the Van Buren Area.
She married Edwin Webster and they lived in the Perth Area.
Bohannons Second Marriage was to Port Berry and they Lived at North Walnut Street. She Lived with her third husband John Oliver Bohannon at 307 East Blaine Street.
As a Practical Nurse, Bohannon spent a long and active life caring for others during illness in their homes, and she continued to show her concern for the disabled at the nursing home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three Sons Robert Webster Meridian Towers, Austin Webster Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Lewis B Webster of Clearview Florida. Ond sister Cynthia Hood Girton, Jackson Gardens a sister in law Gertrude Pell, Meridian Towers, and several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren , Nieces and Nephews.
Bohannon was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine Michel, Four Brothers, Marshall,Ben, Worth and a twin Ernest Pell and Two Sisters Dora and Vellie.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday at the Moore Funeral Home with the Rev Lynn Denison minister of the First United Methodist Church officiating, Burial will be in the Pell Cemetery at North Knightsville Road, Visitation will be after 4 pm today and until time of service Tuesday
