Lucy Bruce was the daughter of Reuben Bruce and Lucy Rice, of Sheldon, VT. Her first marriage was to John Garfield Davis, 6 Dec. 1832, at Sheldon. When John Davis died in 1839, she remarried William Webster, of Franklin, VT. Children of her first marriage were Loretta Elinor, Helen P, and Harriet Elzina. Her children from her 2nd marriage were John, William, and Lucretia.
Note: Harriet Elzina Davis married Hiram Loucks, and they lived and died in Mineville, Essex co, NY. Lucy Bruce Davis Webster was my 2 X great grandmother. Would like to make contact with descendants.
