He was born in Chelsea and was the son of the late Archibald W. and Bessie (Nash) Oram.
Until his retirement he was a machinist for the Aulson Tanning Machinery Co., Beverly. He was an army veteran of World War I.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 2 sons, Allan E. Oram of Winchester and David W. Oram of Lynn; 2 brothers, Stanely and Howard Oram, both of Reading; a sister, Mrs. Helen Bowen of Marblehead and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Full Memorial.
