Nancy A. Flanagan, 58 of Danbury died at her home Monday, February 20th. Nancy was born on July 26, 1953 in Danbury ; she was the daughter to the late Marson J. and Marion A. (Picone) Germanetti. Nancy enjoyed gardening and traveling, she especially loved her cat, Skippy. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Nancy is survived by two sisters, Suzan DiMaria and Bill Moser of Danbury and Sally Mitchell and her husband Alan also of Danbury; her uncle, Joe Picone of Thompson, GA; her aunt, Catherine Valine of Danbury; her nephew, John Kraigenow and Zachary Simpson of Albany, NY; her niece, Marci Eder and her husband Paul of Frederick, Maryland; two great nephews, Chase and Brady Eder. Donations may be made in her honor to Catholic War Veterans Scholarship Fund of the United States of America, Inc., 1042 Post Cmr-Cwv, 2 Shalvoys Lane , Danbury , CT 06810 -6921. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 27th at Wooster Cemetery . There are no calling hours.
