Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester with the Rev. James Schafer officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church. There will be an Altar Society Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a Parish Rosary at7 p.m.
Cecilia was born May 2, 1913 in Dorchester, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (nee Fritsch) Kronschnabl. She attended St Louis Catholic School and was a 1931 graduate of Dorchester High School. She also attended Medford Normal School for teaching.
A single lady, Cecilia was employed for 52 years as a medical assistant to Dr. A.W. Schief, a Dorchester dentist. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society, the Catholic Foresters and Lucky 13 Homemakers. She also was a charter member of the Dorchester Lioness and the Dorchester American Legion Auxiliary.
She will be sadly missed by her twin sister, Mildred (Clifford) Herman of Dorchester; sister-in-law Adeline Babcock of Menomonee Falls, many nieces and nephews and friends including Norma (Al) Meier of Dorchester.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Joseph, Max, Jerome, Milton, Francis and Cletus Kronschnabl; and by three sisters, Rose Kronschnabl, Helen Mertens and Gertrude Kronschnabl.
Memorials may be given in Cecilia’s name to St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester.
