Professional Hockey Player. A native of Brantford, Ontario, Canada, Shewchuk who was 6'01", and 190lbs, played the position of Defense for teams in the IAHL, NHL, and the AHL Hockey Leagues. He played for the Providence Reds from 1937 to 1939, Boston Bruins from 1938 to 1943, and 1944 to 1945, Hershey Bears from 1940 to 1942, and 1945 to 1946, and the St. Louis Flyers from 1946 to 1948.
