U. G. Flanary, 67, retired business man and farmer, died Wednesday morning in Lee General Hospital following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Lee County. Funeral services will be held at the home west of Jonesville, on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Flanary; four sons, William, Indianapolis, Ind., Curtis, Jonesville, Devon, Africa, and Jack, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. June Rector, Dunedin, Fla., and Mrs. Maxine Weir, Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Stokley Stone of Knoxville, Tenn.
He was a member of the Jonesville Methodist Church and the American Legion.
Rev. Archie Kelley pastor of Jonesville Methodist Churcfh will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Flanary Cemetery near Jonesville.
