Lindsay Rae Johnson, 27, entered the Spirit World on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012.

Lindsay was born on April 1, 1984, to Renee Trottier and Ron Johnson. Lindsay grew up and attended schools in Billings and started her college studies in Missoula, later continuing her studies in Billings.

A very special time in Lindsay's life was on Oct. 16, 2004, when her daughter Illyanna Star was born to her. Lindsay loved spending time with her daughter, family and friends. Her special interests were hiking and spending time outdoors.

Lindsay was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Eugene Trottier Sr., paternal grandparents Glen and Rosalie Johnson, and maternal uncle Jay Trottier.

She is survived by her parents, Ron and Renee; and her beautiful daughter, Illyanna Star; maternal grandmother, Cecilia Trottier; maternal uncles Terry (Angie) Trottier, and Duane (Jenny) Trottier, all of Bismarck, N.D., Eugene Trottier Jr. of Forest Lake, Minn.; and maternal aunts Patti (Trottier) Bosch of Aberdeen, S.D., and Janice (Trottier) Bass of Winnebago, Neb.; paternal uncles Robert Johnson and Don Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Lonnie Johnson of McKinleyville, Calif., James Chase of Belcourt, N.D.; and paternal aunt, Judy (Ivan) Lurdstrom of Gwinn, Mich.

A rosary will be recited at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral, 215 N. 31st St. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the Grand Avenue Knights of Columbus, following the interment.
