She was born Feb. 19, 1911, in North Salem, Ind., to William Newton and Elizabeth Wilcox Runion.
On Aug. 24, 1945, she married Fay Albert Maddux in Oakland, Calif., who preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Carroll Dean, Charles Albert, and Ronald Wayne Maddux.
She was a nurse's aide.
Survivors include several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Nina Maddux, of Woodward, Okla. and other relatives.
At the request of Mabel Edith Maddux, her body has been cremated under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Burial will be at a later date at Moreland Cemetery in Moreland, Okla.
