His mother and Father divorced around 1920 and his mother lived in Manatee Florida in 1920. His siblings are James Solomon Dillinger, Frank Robert Dillinger, Eva Dillinger Cook, Serelda Dillinger, Lula Dillinger, Mattie May Dillinger, Florence Dillinger King, William Henry Dillinger, and George Dillinger. He married Susie Rothwell on March 1st 1911, in Garrard County, Kentucky. He died on February 5, 1960, in his hometown at the age of 71, and was buried in Danville, Kentucky.
