Mrs Charlotte F. Hopkins Dead.
Northampton, Feb 17 – Mrs Charlotte F., widow of Erastus Hopkins, and mother of Col W.S.B. Hopkins of Worcester, died at her home on Elm st today of old age. She came of a prominent New England family, her father, William Allen, having been president of Bowdoin college. She was born in Hanover, N.H. in March, 1819. Her husband was one of the leading men of Northampton for many years, making a brilliant career in the legislature. Beside her son, Col Hopkins, she leaves a daughter, Miss Sarah A., who has always lived at hoe. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p m.
