The parentage of Enoch and his 3 brothers Has Not been proven via DNA. Many have John Philip Hood (1731 - 1816) and Violetta Chapman Hood (1733 - 1803) as their parents and it does make sense in many ways. Unfortunately, until DNA proof is forthcoming, I cannot say who Enoch's parents are and so will not post John Philip and Violetta as such. The day will come and then we will have the unquestionable truth of our linage. Sherry Sorbet
