Ray James Ford Dies Suddenly Heart Attack Fatal To Farmer
Ray James Ford, 57, died unexpectedly at his home south of Mt. Pleasant Thursday afternoon at 4:35 from a heart attack. He was stricken suddenly and passed away a few hours later.
He had been a resident south of Pleasant the last 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Leota Archibald to .whom he married Sept. 15, 1908, and the following children: Mrs. Mildred McClintock, Mrs. George Calhoun, Mrs. R. D. Fetterman and Harold Ford, the latter home. A daughter, Mrs. Florence Willis, preceded him in death. Five brothers also survive: Ellis, Bert and Earl Ford of Mt. Pleasant. Charles Ford of Denver, Colo., and Ralph Ford of San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Ford, now both deceased, was born September, 1887. The funeral will be held at the Cooke's Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2:30. The body will remain at the Funeral Home until (funeral in and fnends may cal1 there.
