EDWARD P. KENNEDY RITES ON WEDNESDAY
Funeral services for Edward Phillip Kennedy who died yesterday in the Medical center at Weston, will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. Peter's Church. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. The body will remain in the funeral home and burial will be made by the Jones Funeral Home in the Holy Cross cemetery.
He was born February 12, 1989, the the [sic] son of Michael A. [sic] and Mary Agnes Erwin Kennedy, at Whetstone, near Mannington.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ella Barry of Edgemont, and the following children: Mrs. H. A. Corre, State College, Pa.; Phillip E. Kennedy, Louisville, Ky.; Hester A. Kennedy, Fairmont, and James Donald Kennedy, Fairmont.
Brothers surviving are D. P. Kennedy, W. M. Kennedy, and J. J. Kennedy, all of Fairmont. Several brothers and sisters are deceased.
Mr. Kennedy had been in failing health for a number of years.
