Cindy S. (Thomas) Snyder, 47, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 11:26 p.m. at Select Specialty Hospital of York. She was the wife of Thomas H. Snyder, to whom she had been married since May 26, 1985. She was a homemaker and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in York. Born in York on May 10, 1956, she was a daughter of Sally A. (Stottlemyer) Thomas of Red Lion and the late Donald R. Thomas who died June 21, 2003. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Steven M. and Jonathan T. Snyder, both at home; two brothers, David S. and his wife, Tamara Thomas and Michael L. and his wife Stacia Thomas, both of Red Lion; one sister, Beth A. Watkins and her husband, David, of York; a niece, Morgan and a nephew, Trent Thomas; aunts and uncles; and her in-laws, Dr. William C. and Patricia A. (Miller) Snyder of York. Viewings will be held Monday, October 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York. The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with her pastor, Rev. Ralph Bartels and Rev. H. Gene Reichel officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Select Specialty Hospital of York, c/o 1001 S.
