Elvin Brackenbury, 58 years old, a commercial photographer in Independence for nearly thirty years, died today at his home, 800 South McCoy street, Independence.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Martha Brackenbury of the home; a son, Harold Brackenbury, 1329 South Pleasant street, Independence; a daughter, Miss Pauline Brackenbury, North River road and Silver lane, Independence; four brothers, Lester Brackenbury and Joseph Brackenbury, both of Raytown, MO.; Lute Brackenbury, Long Beach, Cal., and John Brackenbury, 115 North Oakley, Avenue. and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Pierson, Ashland, Ore., and Mrs. Luna Noble, 114 East Thirty-fourth street terrace.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday at the South Side Reorganized church in Independence.
