Joy Fay Cannon Dies After Eight Year Illness
Joy Fay Cannon, 28, Squiresville, died Monday, June 21 at UK Medical center after an eight year illness (Hodgkins).
A native of Owen county, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lina Mae Clifton Cannon. She was a clerk typist for the State motor vehicle department in Frankfort until her illness. She was a member of the Squiresville Baptist Church where funeral services will be held with burial in Owenton,KY.
Survivors: Mother, Lina Mae, Lexington, two brothers, Carl Ray (Helen) Lexington, and Kerry Cannon, Squiresville; a sister, Ernest Dean Towles, Owenton; and three nephews.
