KAYSVILLE - Paul B. Major Jr., 64, died February 14, 2005 in Kaysville, Utah.
He was born in his parents' home, January 13, 1941 in Kaysville, Utah to Paul
B. Major Sr. and Frances Mann Major, the second of four children. Paul
graduated from Davis High School and later from Weber State University. He
participated in basketball and football while at Davis High. He married
Elizabeth Ann Adams on March 11, 1966 and was sealed for time and all eternity
on March 11, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. From this marriage four
children were born. Paul retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1998. Paul was
known for his dependability and honesty. He liked everyone to have a warm coat
and you better always put one in the car, just in case. His mind was sharper
than most computers and he really knew history, sports and current events. He
knew education was important and all four of his children have a good
education. He loved his children above anything else and he was generous with
h is time spent with them. He dearly loved his grandchildren. He will be
greatly missed, for he saw to all our needs. Paul is survived by his wife;
four children, Malinda (Tim) Lansfeldt, York Major, Quinn (Shelbie) Major,
Nohl Major; grandchildren, Dalton, Major, Madison, Lauren, Ashley and Kellen
(will be born in April); sister, Sherrol Major; brothers, Brent (Linda) Major
and Craig (Pam) Major. He is preceded in death by his parents. Graveside
services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Kaysville City
Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to
8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary,
