Johnnie received her education in the Fort Worth Public Schools. She was baptized at an early age into the fellowship of Christ at the Saint Luke Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend B. J. Bradford, Sr.
In 1998, Johnnie moved t San Jose, California where she spent the remaining years of her life. She departed this life on November 1, 2001
She leaves to cherish her memories; her special companion, James Bircher; one brother: S. W. Williams and wife Marilyn; two sisters: Delores Williams and Ruby Young; two nephews: Wendell Williams and wife Lisa, and Humphrey Young; fives nieces: Shelly Tutum, Patrice Matthews, Wanda Young-Davis, See Ann Phips, Sharon McGinnis and a host of other relatives and friends.
