Elizabeth Frances was born in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Edgar Carnell Carter, Jr and Sharon Jean Rackley both of Dallas.

When she was 3 years old she relocated to New Orleans with her mother, Sharon and grandmother Betty.

While in New Orleans her mother met and married Frank Zangla and Lizzie and Sharon relocated to Alexandria, Louisiana and Frank later adopted Lizzie. Elizabeth lived the rest of her life there in Alexandria.

Elizabeth was one of those children that was so beautiful, strangers would actually stop her Mom just to make a remark about Lizzie's beauty as well as her smile. She always had a smile on her face and loved everything in life, especially being with her Nana Betty & her Mom, Sharon.

Elizabeth was not only beautiful but she excelled in school. She had a love for reading, the arts, ballet & travel. Friendly, always caring for people & animals less fortunate and always with a smile on her face no one ever picked up on the struggles deep inside she carried beneath that smile. Growing up in Alexandria was difficult with a blended family that did not get along with each other and an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis that slowly started effecting her life in her early teens.

As an adult Elizabeth had 2 children in Alexandria. The oldest a son Christian born to her and Trey Player while she still lived at home. Later she married Shaun Parker and they had a son, Michael, who lived with Shaun's family after their divorce.

She always dreamed of leaving Alexandria and moving back to Dallas someday and starting over. She was working on her degree and heading in that direction....but her struggles started to out weigh her gifts over time towards the end of her life here on earth.

Trying to stay drug free...Lizzie sent out an message to her friends just a couple of months before her death....Hooray for Tylenol PM....I finally found an over the counter drug that helps me with pain and to sleep!

It did just that. Elizabeth died from Tylenol poisoning. Good news is that Lizzie finally made it back to Dallas, where she always dreamed of living again someday. Liz is in no pain and is happy and at peace again with her Nana & Mom, where she was always happiest.
