"Our Special Angel"
Born March 25th, 1954 in Provo, Utah, Melody passed away Wednesday, February 18th from a long-term illness.
She is survived by her husband Kay McNeil, her four sons Justin, Troy (Amy), Paul (Liz), and Cameron Houston; her stepchildren Shaun (Ashley), Kallie, and Chris McNeil and her three grandchildren; all of Salt Lake; her parents, Diane Sill Baur (Dutch); mother in laws, Shirley Houston and Mary Lou McNeil. She was preceded in death by her husband David Houston, her step-father Mike Sill, and father-in-law Sam Houston.
Melody was a loving, caring wife, mother and daughter. She kept a bright and cheery countenance throughout all her trials and illnesses. She was patient, kind, and understanding always putting her family first. She loved dancing, music, movies and her cat "Angel".
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. in the Highland 2nd Ward Chapel 9800 S. Dunsinane Dr. (3815 W), South Jordan. Family and friends may visit Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E 10600 S, Sandy) and Monday one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
