Columbian Centinel dated 12 Dec 1801, Boston: Homer, Mrs. Ann, wife of John Homer, merchant, died in Boston, aged 63 years.
Notes: 1) When Ann married John Paine, he was of Thomaston, Maine and she was of Wiscasset. 2) Ann Hobby was the dau of Wensley & Rachel (Cookson) Hobby. Ann was bap. 1 Oct 1738. She m1. Thomas Greenough, m2. Alexander Gray, m3. John Homer. She d. 9 Dec 1801. John Homer prob had a tomb at King's Chapel, but Ann is most likely buried in the Cookson tomb at Copp's Hill. I have no idea why this Ann isn't in the Cookson tomb.
