Funeral services for Mary Nell "Betty" Calvert Waters, 78, of Gardendale, formerly of Crane Hill will be at 11 a.m. Saturday,Feb. 18, 2012 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Keith Gambill officiating with interment in Ryans Creek Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Waters passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15th, 2012. She was born Dec. 5, 1933 to Charles Elijah and Mary Freeman Calvert. She was a member of Ryans Creek Baptist Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends and love to fish and travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, I. L. "Bud" Waters; grandson, James Lawley; 5 sisters; 2 brothers.

Survivos include her son, Jeff (Karen) Waters, daughter, Jeanie (Pat) Lawley; brother, John Calvert; 4 sisters, Ruby Frye, Jennie Lowery, Florence (Clarence) Willoughby, Ruth Bagi; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Lawley, C.J. Waters, Cass Waters; niece, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m.
